Sprouted weat breakfast cereal


  1. 1 cup hard red wheat, raw, dry
  2. water as needed for the sprouting


  • Day one in the morning, put 1 cup of raw dry hard red wheat into a sprouting jar.
  • Fill the jar with water completely covering the wheat plus about 2 inches of extra water.
  • Let it sit in the water for 24 hours at room temperature.
  • That brings us to day two in the morning.
  • Pour off the water and let the wet wheat sit until bedtime.
  • Put the wet wheat into a thermos and fill with boiling water.
  • Leave it in the hot water in the thermos and serve it in the morning.
  • That brings us to day three in the morning, simply put the hot wheat cereal in a bowl, pour off the excess water and serve.
  • A little maple syrup, honey and cinnamon are also good with it.
